AdSafer Removal Guide

AdSafer is an adware or advertising-supported software which automatically plays, displays, or downloads advertisements to a computer. What make us angry is that AdSafer shows that the computer is infected by dangerous malwares which in fact the computer is free from any virus. AdSafer shows fake report to the user repeatedly and ask the user to download Vista AntiMalware 2010 to remove the threats. The user is urge to purchase the full version of Vista AntiMalware 2010 which cannot detect and remove any kind of malware, virus or trojan.

AdSafer can do nothing but just display useless and fake alert only. It can be removed by stopping the processes (adr.exe, setup_adsafer.exe, adsafer.exe, [random].exe), removing the folders and files(%ProgramFiles%\adsafer, %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\setup_adsafer.exe, %USERPROFILE%\Start Menu\Programs\adsafer) and finally removing the registry keys according the removal guide stated below.
